Incredible Brownie Ice Cream Crunch Bars Recipe

INGREDIENTS:

1 box (18.3 oz) fudge brownie mix
plus water, vegetable oil and eggs called for on brownie mix box
1.5 quarts chocolate chip ice cream, softened (or flavor of your choice)
6 Nature Valley oats ‘n dark chocolate crunchy granola bars, coarsely chopped (or store brand, any variety)
1/2 cup chocolate-flavor syrup
DIRECTIONS:
1: Bake brownies as directed on box in 13×9-inch pan. Cool completely, about 30 minutes.
2: Meanwhile, remove ice cream from freezer; place in refrigerator to soften, about 1 hour.
3: Spread softened ice cream evenly over cooled brownies.
4: Sprinkle evenly with chopped granola bars; press lightly into ice cream.
5: Freeze 1 1/2 hours or until firm. For bars, cut into 5 rows by 3 rows. Drizzle each serving with chocolate syrup. Store in freezer.
Darlene’s Tips: You can add anything you want to the softened ice cream like chopped nuts, chopped up chocolate bars, extra chocolate chips or whatever!
