What I Ate Yesterday – Day 65 – Reminder, This is Not Keto

Yesterday – Friday 1/20 – Day 65

When I got up, I had my usual cup of coffee with milk (trying milk now instead of HWC).

At 12:30pm, I ate what you see in the plate above. I had a most delicious pork chop along with sliced beef, ground beef and bacon ends, all cooked in butter.  I ate almost all of what you see, but not quite all.  I saved the rest for later.

NOTE: Some think I cook in butter because I need the added fat.  I think that’s more of a keto plan?  Not sure.  I really know very little about keto but this is NOT a keto diet.  This is an animal kingdom only plan (meat and what they provide for us, dairy, eggs, etc.)   The only reason I add butter is so the meat won’t stick to my old pan and also for flavor.  It has nothing to do with adding fat.  And butter is an animal product so it’s totally allowed.

At 7:00pm, I cooked up some more sliced beef, ground beef and bacon ends.  Then I added 4 eggs to the mix and scrambled them up in the meat.  I also added some American cheese to my plate, I think it was two slices.  This was soooooo good!  I ate until satisfied then saved the rest for later.

At 11:15pm, I got hungry.  But I did not want to cook or heat anything up in the microwave because I still have a mouse on the loose and all the lights were off in the kitchen and I was worried that he was out to kill me. lol  So I grabbed my leftovers from the day and ate those cold.  I don’t think I had any milk after.  But I know I had water, took my benadryl, and hit the hay.

Food that entered my mouth yesterday: pork chop, beef shoulder roast, ground beef, bacon ends, eggs, cheese, butter, milk, coffee, pepper, lots of water.

(I think I’m growing balls! Let me look… yes, I see one starting to grow!)
