NOTE: I get messages asking me why I post these types of recipes while I’m following a zero carb animal kingdom only food plan.  My answer is because I’m following ZC, but I bet you’re not! Just because I eat a certain way does not mean I have to limit myself to sharing only meat recipes. I’m not the carb police! lol

Chocolate Oat Clusters Cereal No-Bake Bars Recipe

INGREDIENTS:

Bars:
1/4 cup butter
1/4 cup Nutella hazelnut spread with cocoa
1 bag (10 oz) miniature marshmallows (about 6 cups)
6 cups Nature Valley chocolate oat clusters cereal

Topping (optional):
2 tablespoons Nutella hazelnut spread with cocoa
1/4 cup sliced almonds

Darlene’s Tip: You can use any store brand chocolate hazelnut spread. You can also use any oat clusters cereal.  You can totally skip the topping.

DIRECTIONS:

Step 1:  Line 9-inch square pan with foil so foil extends about 2 inches over sides of pan. Spray foil with cooking spray. In large microwavable bowl, microwave butter, 1/4 cup hazelnut spread and the marshmallows uncovered on High about 2 minutes, stirring after each minute, until mixture is smooth.

Step 2:  Immediately stir in cereal until evenly coated. Pour cereal mixture into pan. With buttered hands or back of spoon, press mixture evenly in pan. In small microwavable bowl, microwave 2 tablespoons hazelnut spread uncovered on High 20 to 30 seconds or until drizzling consistency. Drizzle on top of bars; top with sliced almonds. Cool completely, about 30 minutes.

Step 3: Using foil to lift, remove bars from pan. Cut into 4 rows by 4 rows. Store tightly covered.
