Before I start, I want to be clear that no one has to do this! No one! I’m not going to change how I feel about my readers if this is a flop. lol But I know some of you feel like you know my mother from hearing me talk about her over the past 4 years. So I thought I’d include you in the yarn basket I want to build for her upcoming birthday.
My mother will be 92 on March 19. I thought it would be fun to set up a gift registry for yarn for her. As far as I can see, you can choose the Free Store Pickup option and have it sent to my Sanford Walmart and I will pick it up. I have a video showing you how to order (please continue watching after I say bye because I added info after that).
I went through and added tons of colors to the registry that I know she would like. Most skeins are under $3.00, and if you send to my store the shipping will be free (but you will pay about $.15 tax). If you would like to put a skein in her gift basket, that would be great! If you can’t, I totally understand. It is absolutely not necessary!
I will give the yarn to my mother on her birthday (and I’ll try to record it… sssshhhh don’t tell her that! lol). I’m sure she will be so surprised! In case you don’t know, she crochets like crazy. So, even if she gets tons of yarn, it will all be put to good use in no time. And the afghans she makes with that yarn will be donated to those in need. She especially loves to make afghans for children. I will take pics of all the stuff she makes and will keep you up to date on her crocheting progress. My goal is to one day get her on youtube!!!
Wouldn’t it be super cool if she got 92 skeins for her 92 years?
