Build Your Stockpile – Market Basket 8/2 – 8/8

Here are a few great Market Basket deals to help build your stockpile!  These deals are for those of you who would like to save money on groceries without using coupons. Feel free to check the coupon database for coupons if you want to save more.

I focus on items for your stockpile so I’m only including non-perishable items in these posts (and maybe some frozen when I spot good deals).

Check the flyer for other great deals (please note that is not an official Market Basket site). The only Market Basket in Maine (so far) is in Biddeford. There are lots in NH and MA.

You can search the database for coupons!

$1.50 for a jar of peanut butter is a great price! If peanut butter is a staple in your home and you don’t want the hassle of couponing, I’d buy at year’s worth at this price. I am going to try to pick up 10 jars for my mother by price matching at Walmart.

This works out to $.55 per roll which is a very good price for 1000 sheets per roll.  And if you feel like using coupons, search the database as we often have coupons for Scott.

This is blurry, but I have a copy of the flyer in hand, and these are indeed the big 28 oz cans so $.79 is a very good price.  I just stocked up on 30 cans at that price but the brand I got didn’t have whole tomatos. If I can get to Market Basket during this sale, I’ll be picking up 30 cans of whole and diced then I should be set for maybe a year. Feel free to buy a year’s worth at this price.

Remember to eat from your stockpile. That’s why you built it!
