I know not everyone wants to be a couponer. Frankly, I am sooooooo busy with my blogs now that I rarely have time to print and clip and shop using coupons. Thankfully, I have a huge stockpile so I have the luxury of shopping only for the best deals. But for me, time is money, and I’m looking for alternative ways to shop so I can save time. One thing that I might start doing for non-perishables that we don’t often get coupons for is to order on Walmart.com and have the goodies delivered to my door!

If you place an order on Walmart.com for $50 or more, your order will ship to your home for free. It’s very easy for a non-couponer to reach $50, so free shipping will be your friend!
WHY SHOP FOR GROCERIES ONLINE?
It’s convenient! Order from the comfort of your computer and let the food come to you!
It’s easy! Add to your cart and check out! No standing in long lines!
You save time! For many of us, time is money! I could spend my time standing in line at the store, or I can sit here at my computer doing my job by bringing you more deals. I choose YOU!
You save on gas! No need to travel except to run out for your perishables at your local market.
You save on sitters! No need to drop your kids off at the sitter to shop in peace!
You save on headaches! You usually shop with your kids in tow? Now you don’t have to do that!
You don’t need an umbrella! Does anyone still carry an umbrella? Anyway, shop from home and you won’t get caught in the rain!
You can shop in your jammies! No need to get dressed up to shop! And you don’t have to face the embarrassment when you discover you shopped wearing two different shoes or realize your shirt was inside out! (I’ve done both those things!)
You avoid impulse purchases! You won’t be grabbing that candy bar and soda at the register, so you will save money and calories! And just think of all those items that your kids insisted on that you won’t have to buy!
You get the same low prices or lower! I just checked some of the items I purchased on past receipts and I see that I paid the same price online or a bit less. For example, the big canister of Great Value Quick Oats is $3.24 in the store and only $3.18 online.
You can still build your stockpile! There is no law saying that everything in your stockpile has to be free or almost free. If you find a decent deal on a non-perishable that you use often, go ahead and stock up online then you can forget about buying that item for a long time!
No coupons needed! I know couponing is not a good fit for everyone. And even coupon addicts need a break now and then. This is a good way to shop when you can’t do your clipping!
Buy in bulk! You can often order items on Walmart.com that are not available in your store, like huge restaurant size cans of veggies, fruits or sauces. Or multi-packs of baking products. You can save on the unit price by buying big! (but always check unit price, ’cause bigger is not always better cheaper).
Quickly find your specialty items! Walmart has shopping categories for Organic Foods, Gluten Free Products, and Sugar Free Items. Shopping for specialty foods just got easier!
You can add non food items to take advantage of the free shipping!!! OMG… I love this plan! All you have to spend is $50 on Walmart.com to get free shipping. That can be a combination of most any of the items on their website! So if you want to grab one of these $3.00 girl’s shirts or these clearance plus size capri pants, just add to your cart and they will ship for free with your food as long as your total reaches $50! Also, you can do that in reverse… let’s say you have something you really want to buy, like this fantastic $13 Scooter (I got one for Skylar), but you don’t want to pay for shipping and you rather not pick it up at the store, just add some food to your cart (stuff that you would buy anyway!!!) to bring the total to $50 so you can get free shipping on your entire purchase!!!
Returning stuff is easy! Don’t like what you get? You can return it at the store! No need to send it back. Just save the receipt that came with the box.
NOTE: Ordering on Walmart.com is not to be confused with Walmart To Go where you can also get produce and other perishables (that’s only available in certain areas). This is plain old Walmart.com where you order and it gets delivered by UPS or FeDEx or whatever it is they use for shipping.
