Make these delicious cookies using your favorite cake mix.
Ingredients:
1 package any flavor cake mix
1/2 cup shortening (I use butter or margarine)
1 Tablespoon water
2 eggs
Powdered sugar
Candy for decorating (optional)
Heat oven to 375F. Lightly grease cookie sheets. (Use the paper wrapper from your butter for this.)
In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, shortening, water and eggs; mix well.
Form dough into 1-inch balls; roll in powder sugar and place 2 inches apart on prepared cookie sheet.
Bake at 375F. for 7-10 minutes or until edges are set. Immediately add you candy decorations, if using. Remove from cookie sheets; cool completely.
Make approx. 4 dozen cookies.
