Ghostly Banana Pops – Halloween Recipe
NOTE: Please remember that I don’t eat this stuff so I did not test this recipe. I’m just posting so you can try it!
INGREDIENTS:
4 small bananas
8 craft sticks (flat wooden sticks with round ends)
1 3/4 cups white candy melts or coating wafers (about 10 oz)
16 miniature brown candy-coated chocolate candies
Darlene’s Tips: Pour melted candy into a tall glass for easy dipping. Put in refrigerator or freezer to set quickly. And if you want to make this really simple, don’t even dip the bananas! Just put stick chocolate chips with the pointy side in the banana. Might work! Or use tiny pieces of black licorice for the eyes. For sure that will work!
DIRECTIONS:
1 Cut each banana crosswise in half; insert 1 craft stick into cut end of each banana half.
2 Melt candy melts as directed on package. Dip each banana into melted candy to cover; tap off excess. Place on waxed paper. Attach 2 candies to each banana to look like eyes. Let stand 10 minutes or until set. Serve immediately.
