1 box Betty Crocker SuperMoist cake mix yellow
water, vegetable oil and eggs called for on cake mix box
1 container Betty Crocker frosting (any flavor)
18 assorted Christmas PEEPS brand marshmallow shapes
optional: candy sprinkles or colored nonpareils

Darlene’s Tips:  You can make this super easy and use store bought cupcakes and just top them with peeps!  What a quick and easy dessert to bring to a holiday gathering! You can do this for any stinkin’ holiday since peeps are no longer just for Easter! lol!

DIRECTIONS:

1:  Heat oven to 375°F. Place paper baking cup in each of 24 regular-size muffin cups. Make cake batter as directed on box. Divide batter evenly among muffin cups. Bake as directed on box for cupcakes. Cool in pans 10 minutes; remove from pans to cooling racks. Cool completely, about 30 minutes.

2:  Frost cupcakes with frosting. Place PEEPS marshmallows on tops of 18 cupcakes; decorate with sprinkles. Decorate remaining 6 cupcakes as desired.
