1 roll (16.5 oz) Pillsbury refrigerated sugar cookies dough
Red and green candy sprinkles
Vanilla frosting from a tub

Darlene’s Tips:  You can buy store brand cookie dough to save money! If you want to thicken the frosting you can add some confectioner’s sugar to the frosting until you get the desired consistency. Or you can always just make your own.  You can also tint it with food coloring if you like. You could frost some bars with red frosting and some with green frosting. You could also decorate the tops of the cookie bars with red and green gel or use a cake decorator to draw some designs like christmas tree shapes or whatever you like!

DIRECTIONS:

1:  Heat oven to 350°F. In medium bowl, break up cookie dough. Stir or knead in 2 tablespoons candy sprinkles until well blended. Press evenly in 13×9-inch pan.

2:  Bake 15 to 20 minutes or until set and edges are golden brown. Cool completely in pan on cooling rack, about 1 hour.
3:  Spread frosting evenly over cooled bars. Sprinkle with additional candy sprinkles. Cut into 8 rows by 4 rows.
