Today I’m trying something new! Instead of looking at my To Do list and hating every task on there, no matter how small the task may be, I’m going to toss it. And I’m starting a new list… my Got It Done list!
I’m just putting a blank piece of paper on my desk. If I accomplish a task that I feel is worthy of jotting down, I will add it to the list of things I got done. And it might be as simple as picking up something that has been sitting on the floor forever. I seriously have a hard time with tasks like that because they seem so tiny that they make no impact. So, instead of doing lots of tiny tasks that help keep my place picked up, I just leave them there to gather. And then it becomes hoarder territory. You know what I mean, jelly bean?
Just wanted to put my idea out there for those of you who might like to also toss out your To Do list and try a Got It Done list instead. I’d much rather look at a piece of paper with only accomplishments than a piece of paper with some stuff scratched off and other tasks still staring me in the face. It’s worth a shot! lol
