Easy Hummus Recipe

INGREDIENTS:

1 can (15 oz) chickpeas (garbanzo beans), drained, reserving 1/3 cup liquid
3 tablespoons lemon juice
1/2 cup sesame seed
DIRECTIONS:
1: Place beans, reserved bean liquid, lemon juice and sesame seed in blender or food processor. Cover and blend on high speed, stopping blender occasionally to scrape sides if necessary, until uniform consistency.
2: Spoon dip into serving dish. Sprinkle with garnish if desired (parsley, green onion, etc). Serve with pita bread wedges, crackers, chips, veggies, whatever!
Darlene’s Tips: Serve with fruit slices or celery sticks or eat as is. You could also try chocolate yogurt with peanut butter and serve with grahams for dipping!
