Birthday Cake Muddy Buddies Recipe

INGREDIENTS:

6 cups Rice Chex cereal (or store brand)
3/4 cup Betty Crocker Rich & Creamy vanilla frosting (or store brand)
1/2 cup white vanilla baking chips
1/3 cup rainbow sprinkles
3/4 cup powdered sugar

DIRECTIONS:
1: Place cerealin larg bowl and set aside.
2: In medium microwavable bowl, microwave frosting and white vanilla baking chips uncovered on High about 1 minute, stirring every 15 seconds, until smooth.
3: Pour mixture over cereal and stir until evenly coated. Add sprinkles and toss. Pour into 2-gallon resealable food-storage plastic bag.
4: Add powdered sugar. Seal bag; shake until well coated. Spread on cooking parchment paper to cool, about 30 minutes. Cool completely before storing in airtight container at room temperature.
Darlene’s Tips: You can use chocolate sprinkles or any sprinkles of your choice for a non-birthday look. You could use chocolate frosting and chocolate morsels too or chocolate frosting and peanut butter morsels. Experiment!
