Cinnamon Honey Sweet Potatoes Recipe – Easy Thanksgiving Side Dish

Cinnamon Honey Sweet Potatoes Recipe

INGREDIENTS:

5 tablespoons salted butter, melted
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 cup honey
4 lb medium sweet potatoes

DIRECTIONS:

1:  Heat oven to 325°F. Brush 13×9-inch (3-quart) glass baking dish with melted butter. Stir in cinnamon and honey to remaining butter and set aside.

2:  Peel sweet potatoes; cut into 1-inch chunks. Place in baking dish. Drizzle with half of the honey mixture; stir to evenly coat potatoes. Cover tightly with foil and bake 30 minutes.

3:  Remove from oven and remove foil. Spoon remaining honey mixture on top. Recover; bake 20 to 30 minutes longer or until potatoes are tender.

Search for stuff you need on Amazon, on eBay and at Walmart!

Darlene’s Tips:  If you don’t want them honey or cinnamon flavored, you can do this with just butter! You’ll need to add more butter, maybe double it. You could also add some fresh chopped garlic and/or onion to this dish. Just toss that in with the potatoes.
