Chocolate Cake Mix Cookies Recipe

INGREDIENTS:
1 box Betty Crocker Super Moist devil’s food cake mix
1/3 cup vegetable oil
2 eggs
1/4 cup sugar

DIRECTIONS:
1: Heat oven to 350°F (325°F for dark or nonstick pans). In large bowl, mix cake mix, oil and eggs with spoon until dough forms.
2: Refrigerate dough 15 to 30 minutes or as needed for easier handling. Shape dough into 1-inch balls; roll in sugar. Place balls about 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheets.
3: Bake 9 to 11 minutes or until set. Cool 1 minute; remove from cookie sheets to cooling racks. Cool completely, about 30 minutes. Store tightly covered.

Darlene’s Tips: Try this recipe with any flavor cake mix! You could use decorator’s sugar to roll the cookie balls in which would look nice on light cookies (like if you use yellow cake mix or lemon or strawberry). You can even skip the sugar step if you want.
