2-Ingredient Butterscotch Fudge Recipe

INGREDIENTS:
2 1/2 cups butterscotch morsels (like this, use any brand)
1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk (like this, use any brand)

DIRECTIONS:

1:  Line 8-inch square baking dish with waxed paper or cooking parchment paper.

2: In 2-quart saucepan, heat 2 1/2 cups butterscotch chips and 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk (NOT evaporated milk) over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until melted.

3: Remove from heat. Spread in baking dish and refrigerate about 4 hours or overnight. Cut as desired.

Darlene’s Tips:  We always just poured fudge out onto a large buttered plate or plates. Go ahead and try that if you want. If you want perfect squares, then use a baking dish as directed. You can try this recipe with any flavor morsels. Add chopped nuts if you want.  This type of fudge might be fairly soft, so you can keep in the fridge to keep it more firm. You can also freeze and serve as a frozen treat. It should still be fairly soft. If not, it will soften in just a few minutes.  Want to try something? Pour it over a pan of baked brownies before you cut them.  I bet that would work!
