INGREDIENTS
1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
1/2 cup butter (not margarine), melted
2/3 cup sweetened condensed milk
1 cup white morsels
3/4 cup macadamia nuts, coarsely chopped
1 cup shredded coconut
(see my tips below)
DIRECTIONS:
1: Preheat oven to 350°F. Line an 8×8 baking dish with foil and spray with cooking spray.
2: In a small bowl combine melted butter with graham cracker crumbs and mix well. Press firmly into the bottom of the pan. Pour sweetened condensed milk over graham cracker crust.
3: Combine white chocolate chips, macadamia nuts and coconut in a bowl. Pour mixture onto the sweetened condensed milk and press down slightly.
4: Bake for 20-25 minutes or until coconut is toasted. Cool on a wire rack then cut into bars or squares.
Darlene’s Tips: You can use any nuts you want for this recipe. Chopped walnuts or almonds would be awesome! You can also use any flavor of candy morsels. You could also use chocolate grahams or cinnamon grahams for the crust. To make the crumbs, place crackers in a bag and crush with a rolling pin.
