Buffalo Wings Snack Mix Recipe – Mild or Red Hot – Your Choice!

I use affiliate links in some of my posts. I may earn a commission if you use my links. Full disclosure.

Please remember that I don’t eat this stuff so I did not make this recipe.  I’m just posting so you can try it!

INGREDIENTS:
3 cups Rice Chex cereal
3 cups Corn Chex cereal
2 cups rye chips
1 cup peanuts
2 cups white cheddar cheese crackers
2 cups pretzels
1/4 cup butter
1/2 cup buffalo wings sauce (mild, hot or red hot)
1 packet dry ranch dressing mix

DIRECTIONS:

1:  Preheat oven to 250°F. Combine the cereals, rye chips, peanuts, cheese crackers and pretzels in a large bowl.

2:  Melt the butter and mix it with the buffalo sauce.

3:  Pour the buffalo mixture over the cereal mixture and toss to coat. Sprinkle with the dry ranch dressing and mix it in.

4:  Pour the mixture onto a baking sheet and bake for about 45 minutes, stirring every fifteen minutes.

Darlene’s Tips:  You can swap out ingredients for things you might like more. Mixed nuts are good too.  Want it extra hot?  Sprinkle with cayenne pepper! You can also add wheat chex and/or honey nut chex for some sweetness!
