Please remember that I don’t eat this stuff so I did not make this recipe. I’m just posting so you can try it!
INGREDIENTS:
1 package (12 oz) seasoned bread stuffing cubes (about 8 cups)
1½ cups chicken broth
1/4 cup butter (not margarine)
1 cup chopped celery
1/2 cup chopped onion
(see tips below)
DIRECTIONS:
1: Lightly spray bottom and sides of a 4-quart slow cooker with cooking spray.
2: Melt butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add celery and onion. Cook 3 to 4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until crisp-tender.
3: Place bread cubes, celery mixture and broth in slow cooker. Toss to combine. Cover and cook on Low heat setting 3 to 3 1/2 hours. Stir before serving.

Darlene’s Tips: For a more moist stuffing, stir in 2 to 3 tablespoons chicken broth after cooking. You could also add up to 1/2 cup total of other ingredients like garlic, cooked rice, chopped almonds, cooked ground beef, pork or turkey, whatever!
