I have not been going out shopping much lately. I even went two entire days without stepping foot in Shaw’s. I have enough of everything and really need to eat what’s in the freezer because there is no more room for anything new. But, I still managed to pick up a few things… ’cause that’s how I feed this addiction!
I ended up with an overage over these transactions, so I have more money in the pot than I did a few days ago. I think if I make it to $1,000 I’ll call it quits, because I honestly think I could make this go on for a very long time, mainly due to Walmart’s cash back for overages :O)

11 rolls Duck brand tape
Used (5) $6/1 Tena coupon (NLA)
Used (11) $1/1 Duck brand tape (NLA)
tape coupon expired that day and they let me use them up

I paid ZERO plus got $5.39 overage
at Hannaford on 1/31, 2/1, 2/3 & 2/4, multiple separate transactions
7 packages sliced green peppers in deli dept, $.99 each
5 packages sliced onions in deli dept, $.99 each
5 packages sandwich meat from meat dept, $.99 each
5 donut holes, $.20 each (there is meal tax on a donut hole!)
1 package pork from meat dept, $1.55
1 loaf My Essential bread, $1.19
12 cans Hannaford dog food, $.50 each
Used (6) $2 off Hannaford Deli coupons
Used (6) $1 off Hannaford Meat coupons
Used (1) $.50 off peelie from meat
Used (1) $1 off any My Essential from coupon book (NLA)
Used (6) $1 off any Hannaford from coupon book (NLA)
Value before tax was $26.57
I paid $1.42 including tax
Here’s where I stand with my $12 Challenge after these transactions:
Total value of purchases so far before tax is $504.78
Total OOP so far including tax is $3.63
I started with $12.00
I still have $8.37 cash plus $3.00 ExtraBucks for CVS, so I have $11.37 total left to spend! That’s more than I had a few days ago!!!
