My $12 Challenge: I hope I can make it to $1,000

I’ve decided I will retire this challenge when I reach $1,000 in merchandise… if I make it that far.  When I started this challenge, I really had no clue I could go this far on $12 plus the tiny bit of spare change that I find on the ground!  I just hope I can make it to $1,000… I think I can!!!

After discounts and doubled coupons I paid $.56 including tax

at Walmart on 2/22

Used (1) FREE Nestle ice cream cone coupon (snail mail)
I paid ZERO

at CVS on 2/25
3 Snickers Eggs, reg $.87, sale $.50 each
3 Milky Way Bunnies, reg $.87, sale $.50 each
Used (2) $1.50/2 Mars Seasonal (NLA)
Value before discounts and coupons was $5.22
After discounts and coupons total was ZERO
I paid $.15 tax

Here’s where I stand with my $12 Challenge after these transactions:

Total value of purchases so far before tax is $764.45
Total OOP so far including tax is $10.28
I started with $12.00
I still have $1.72 cash plus $5.00 ExtraBucks for CVS, so I have $6.72 total left to spend!
