$5/$50 Shaw’s Coupon for Maine (see here) – Don’t forget your coupon!
Pork Chops $1.29/lb (3 day sale, see here) – Good price!
Bananas $.33/lb (3 day sale, see here) – Good price for bananas. You can peel these and freeze them. They are perfect for smoothies (use frozen) or for banana bread or other recipes (let them thaw).
Essential Everyday Plastic Wrap 200 sq ft $1.99 (see here) – This is a decent price. It’s $1.66 for 200 sq ft at Walmart, but if you don’t shop Walmart, then you might want to pick some up at Shaw’s! UPDATE: We now have a store coupon for this so it’s only $1.00! See the deal here!
Various Apples and Oranges $.97/lb (see here) – Not a bad price for this time of year.
Kraft or Cracker Barrel Cheese $1.99 (see here) – I know we get it for cheaper sometimes, but not a bad price if you need cheese and since this is a week long price, there are no limits.
Essential Everyday Sugar 4lb, Flour 5lb and Morsels $1.88 (see here) – If you will be doing a lot of baking, you might need this stuff!
Those are my picks! If you see something else that you feel is a good sale price, go ahead and stock up. Once your stockpile is built, you will have the luxury of shopping only for items that are free of very cheap later!
