2 Ingredient Banana Spice Cookies Recipe

NOTE: Please remember that I don’t eat this stuff so I did not test this recipe. I’m just posting so you can try it!

INGREDIENTS:

1 box Betty Crocker SuperMoist Spice Cake Mix
2 very ripe bananas
optional: glaze (see tips below)

DIRECTIONS:

1: Preheat oven to 350°F. Beat together the cake mix and bananas in a large bowl.

2: Spoon batter by tablespoonfuls onto a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for 8-12 minutes, or just until the cookies set. Cool slightly before removing from baking sheet and transferring to cooling rack. Frost or garnish as desired or just serve them plain.

Darlene’s Tips: If you want to add an egg for texture, go right ahead!  You could also add some chopped nuts or candy morsels. You can use any yellow cake mix if you don’t want the spice cake flavor. You can also add a teaspoon of banana extract for more banana flavor.  For simple glaze, just add a few drops of water to 1/2 cup of powered sugar and stir. Keep adding just a few drops at a time until you get the consistency you like.
