I really love Starbucks, but I am trying to save money to pay off my wedding (I still owe $3500 from 2.5 years ago! Yippie! LOL) So, I started experimenting with recipes at home to make myself a homemade mocha. I finally found a PERFECT recipe!
Here it is:
Makes two servings:
8 ounces strong Starbucks vanilla flavored coffee
8 ounces strong hot cocoa made with milk
Whipped cream
Caramel flavored ice cream topping
Mix the coffee and hot cocoa really well. You have to use a whisk, or pour
back and forth, back and forth, so a lot of air gets in the mix.
Reheat mix. Top with whipped cream, and caramel sauce.
It really is great!!! Adjust amount of coffee/cocoa according to taste.
