I am in LOVE with this deal at CVS! Why? Because I can stock up on Laundry detergent for just a buck a jug! And by using some of my ExtraBucks to pay it down, I will save even more! I just ordered my coupons and there are still a few lots left… hurry!
LAUNDRY TIP: I stretch my laundry detergent by mixing with water and adding some Borax or Arm & Hammer washing soda (find both in the laundry aisle). I do about 1 part detergent to 3 parts water (you can do 1/2 and 1/2 if you prefer) then I add 1/2 cup Borax for extra cleaning boost (1/2 cup for a small jug, might want 1 cup for a large jug) and a generous squirt of any dish soap (to give it suds). This laundry soap recipe has been approved by my mother! In fact, she tried a Tide pod the other day (a free sample) and said her clothing did not get as clean and soft as my mix :O)
