I got an email from My Coupon Hunter and Virginia is letting us know that she has the new coupons from today’s inserts up! You might want to search her site to see if she has any coupons that you need! She often has regional coupons that we don’t get in our neck of the woods!
She also mentioned that she will be restocking tomorrow morning as well. Orders up until 10pm EST tonight will go out tomorrow.
I’ve been asked a few questions about clipping services, so let me answer them:
1. I have no clue where they get their inserts. But, I am absolutely confident that there is noting shady about where they get them, else I would not promote it.
2. I have no clue if they do the actual clipping or if they only handle the sorting and mailing. I think cutting thousands of coupons would be quite the task for one person, so my best guess is they get them pre-cut, but I don’t know.
3. I believe with every ounce of my heart that they are providing a service and are not “selling coupons.” I know there are many opinions about this and I totally understand that.
4. Yes, I make a commission on the coupons you buy. I make a nickel for every dollar you spend. Will I get rich from that? NEVER! I made $2.59 in September, but oh… I’m up to $3.87 so far this month! Looks like I’ll be able to buy a gallon of gas!
5. Do I personally use other clipping services? Nope! I have only ever ordered from someone else one time because I really wanted $1/1 Hood coupons and Virginia didn’t have them in stock. Trying to remember who. I remember. It was CouponBeat and I got great service.
I could be affiliated with lots of coupon clipping services and probably earn much more that a few dollars per month. But, I like Virginia and she’s the only clipping service I’m affiliated with. I take that back. I’m also affiliated with CouponDede, but I have never once promoted her because my heart belongs to My Coupon Hunter.
Virginia is very nice and I now consider her my friend. She may not have all the coupons, but I’m sticking with her. I’m sure if I asked her to answer the questions above, she probably would. But, I don’t ask because it’s really none of my business. I’ll let her handle the coupons and I will handle the deals. It makes for a nice relationship :O)
