I started doing little giveaways on my blog as a way to keep you interested in my posts. In other words, to keep you coming back. I was shocked to see just how many of you enter those giveaways, even if the prize is a just couple of coupons. I never dreamed those giveaways were going to benefit me way more than they benefit you, and in so many ways.
One of the ways I require you to enter a giveaway is to leave a comment. When you leave comments, they come to me via email and I can read them right there from my inbox. At first, I just skimmed through them. But, some of the comments made me so happy, or made me laugh so hard, that now I try to read each and every one!
Reading the comments is the perfect way to start my day. And, as I read the new comments that continuously pop up in my inbox, it’s like getting little treats throughout the day. When you leave a comment confirming that I helped you, I feel like all the time I spend at the computer is well worth it. It makes me so happy to know someone out there is benefiting from my posts.
As for comments on facebook, I appreciate you sharing your thoughts, your ideas, your coupon successes, and even your disappointments (and in couponing there are many!). Everything you share on my facebook page helps and encourages others.
If someone reads a comment by a mother of three with no time on her hands saying she just scored ten boxes of cereal for next to nothing, it helps other busy moms and dads know they can do it too. If someone just had a bad couponing experience at one of the stores and they read that someone else did too, it helps them to not give up. Everything you say, everything you share and everything you do helps someone!
Many of you say I have helped you learn how to coupon, taught you how to save lots of money, changed your life even. But, the truth is that it’s all of you who are helping me… and changing my life. You give me purpose. You make me happy. You let me get personal and you are always accepting of my quirky ways. And I thank you from the bottom of my heart!
