I did some price checks for us on Diamond nuts. You will see that for the shelled walnuts at Walmart, this is one rare case where it’s cheaper per unit to buy big. Two 8 oz bags would cost $7.04 after coupons, but one 16 oz bag is only $6.48. Therefore, it’s cheaper per pound to buy the 16 oz bag.
