My little Skylar loves princess stuff, especially in pink! I asked if she would like me to make her a princess dress and she said yes! So, together, we came up with this creation. I think it came out pretty good considering I don’t use patterns and did not even measure her. I just lay the fabric down and cut!
Skylar is the one who suggested gloves and the sash, and those two things really completed the look! Then she wanted to work on her own design. You have no idea how nervous I was that she had a marker in her hand while wearing that dress! LOL I think I have a fashion diva in the making!
Complete with scratchy petticoat. She said it hurts her knees… lol

Skylar’s face says it all .What a wonderful skill to pass onto to her.She will always remember this moment with you.
What a beautiful dress you made for your beautiful little princess. My mother used to sew and knit that way; no pattern. My mother taught me to sew and I taught my 2 sons. It is so much fun to see these 2 tall, strapping men now sitting at a sewing machine making things for their homes.
Beautiful! She will remember the time she spent with you for the rest of her life…you just made unforgetable memories and a beautiful dress!!! WAY TO GO SKAYLAR!!!
