In case you didn’t catch my post yesterday, Sanford Walmart is now price matching Market Basket, even though there is no Market Basket in Sanford! Woohoo! Blog follower, Angela, told me this news and I called the store to confirm. Sure enough, I was told YES!
With that said, please expect lots of bumps in the road in the beginning! I’m sure you will run into cashiers and even managers who will still say no. I’ll work on them! LOL
If Sanford Walmart continues to price match Market Basket, I’m going to turn all my Sanford shoppers into price match pros, so stick with me! It’s going to be fun! And it’s an awesome way to save money without clipping coupons, but you can use coupons too when available!
If you are not in Sanford, if you have a Market Basket at least 30 miles from your Walmart, call your Walmart and ask if they will price match so you can follow these deals too!
Here’s the deal at Walmart 4/28 – 5/4
Buy (1) Craisins 5 oz at $1.88
Price match Market Basket at $.99 (see flyer)
Final price is only $.99! Pretty cool, eh?
I’m sure prices can vary at both stores by location, so if you are not in Sanford, just use this as a guide for a possible deal in your town.
What You Need To Know: Tell the cashier you are doing a price match before they ring in your item. You might want to put a stickie on the item with the price so you don’t forget! You do not need to have the other store’s flyer with you (Walmart’s policy says ad is not required) but always bring it if you can (they might have it at the register). You can use coupons with a price match! Always have a copy of Walmart’s price match policy and coupon policy with you!
