Here is my low carb low sugar lunch for today! I use wax beans instead of pasta and my sauce consists of canned crushed tomatoes, ground turkey, bacon, mushrooms, green olives, radishes (yes, I love cooked radish) and onion. And my extra special feature is my cottage cheese. I mixed horseradish and grated parmesan cheese into my cottage cheese and let it chill like that. It is beyond delish!!! And cottage cheese makes any tomato sauce dish taste like lasagna! Just a few pickles on the side for a finishing touch! My mother stole two pickles slices. lol Oh, and of course, she had her sauce on thin spaghetti, her fave pasta.
