Happy Tuesday everyone!
Derrick is here! We got in at 2:40am, safe and sound! His flights were good, so no need to complain about delays. Skylar is beyond happy to have her daddy here. She’s busy telling him about all the things she has done over the past 5 weeks.
Yesterday was a day consisting of trying to take a nap, and I was successful! So all I got uploaded for videos was this Daily Update and this Nightcap.
Today, I hope to have Skylar make 2 different yogurt cream pies. I accidentally bought whipped yogurt for the first one, so we are going to go ahead and test that variety to see how it turns out. Then I picked up two regular yogurts and will use those too for another pie to freeze for later. I’m hoping Skylar will be able to make these pies for her family when she goes back home!
That’s it for now! I need to wake up a bit and get this day started. Derrick will be going out tonight so I’ll still have Skylar all to myself, so we should totally be able to make the pies.
