100 Days and Still Going Strong!

Yesterday – Friday 2/24 – Day 100

NOTE: Whenever I hit a milestone, I know you expect me to report on how much weight I lost.  This is NOT for weight loss.  I’m perfectly content at the size I’m at.  I do not weigh myself. I don’t measure myself.  My clothing is not falling off nor is it too tight, so my best guess is that I’m probably still around 320 pounds like when I started.  As for my health, that has improved leaps and bounds!  I have never felt so good.  And in 100 days, I’ve only had one that felt like depression, but it didn’t last so I’m not calling it depression since depression never cycled that fast for me.  I think it was last bits of withdrawal symptoms from quitting Prozac.  I have now been about 5 weeks of no Prozac, no coffee, no benedryl and very little nasal spray.  I feel like I’m turning back the clock.  I feel younger than ever and quite happy and content mentally for the first time in my life!

When I got up, I had my usual chug jug of hot water.

NOTE:  Yesterday was filled with unexpected events.  I was away from food and could not eat when planned.  I had no desire to eat burger patties from a fast food joint, so I chose to just wait it out and eat when I got home. That is why I ate my first meal so late in the day.  Skipping meals when hungry is a big no no on ZC.  But for me, eating at home and filling up on the meat that I cook is the only way to go.  I have never liked to eat out and I’m not about to start now, especially when I have to order things a special way, like burger patties a la carte.  Just don’t want to deal with it.  I could have traveled with my own burger patties, but had no clue we’d be out for so long.  Since stuff like this does not happen often, I know for myself that skipping a meal is way safer for my ZC lifestyle than ordering stuff I’m not happy with.  I mean really, what restaurant could ever give me a plate like you see above? lol

At 6:30pm, I cooked what you see on my plate.  It was ground beef, breakfast sausage links, smoked sausage with bacon ends, chicken breast and a pork chop. I was so incredibly tired and at that point, I had lost my appetite.  But I cooked and ate just the same.  But I could not eat much, maybe half, maybe less.  Eating on a stressed out tummy does not work well for me.  I had an alka seltzer after and started to recover.

At 10:00pm, I ate about a 1/4 pound of deli roast beef.  My belly was still very stressed out. That was it for the day.

Food that entered my mouth yesterday:  ground beef, chicken, pork chop, breakfast sausage, smoked sausage, bacon ends, deli roast beef and lots of delicious water.

IMPORTANT – My doctor totally approves of this!!! See this vlog to see how my appointment went!

You are free to follow my progress/failures and you can even disagree with what I do. Just remember that I will get the last word because it’s my blog, my channel, my life! That’s the new me talking! (I think I’m growing balls! Let me look… yes, I see one starting to grow!)
