TGIF!
I’m so happy it’s Friday. Even though my days are all basically the same, I like weekends. They just feel different. And it’s Fabric Friday and also Fan Mail Friday! Lots to do today!
First, let’s see what I got done yesterday. I cut lots of fabric. I also listed a Penny Auction with FREE Shipping on eBay for an adorable cotton panel that can be used for a quilt top. I hope to be doing this more often so be sure you add me as a favorite seller on eBay!
Then I ran to Hannaford for meat and I recorded a car vlog to explain that I Don’t Hate Catholics! I dislike people in general. I’m not picking on just catholics. lol
Last but not least, I knocked out another quilt block. I tried out a Multi Color Half Square Triangle and it’s super quick and easy! This is quickly becoming my most favorite series ever because I get to have fun with creating the digital quilts for a slide show at the end of the videos. But let me tell you… time consuming!!! I wanted this series to be something I could knock out quickly. I spend way too much time on the digital quilts. But it’s so fun and creative!
I have a short list for today: List fabric, open peanut gallery mail, schedule bead auctions, pay my electric bill, pick up an order at walmart, upcycled fashion. I’m thinking the only task I might not accomplish is walmart. Just don’t feel like going out. And the sun is shining. I hate to be out in the sun.
As for Upcycled Fashions, I think I know why I’m stuck. I’m limiting myself to something that someone would actually want to wear. I think I need to branch out and try some wild and crazy designs! I’m all about crazy! It might be way more fun for me if I just create some crazy ass clothing just for the sake of seeing what the stuff looks like. I don’t need it to be runway fashion, you know what I mean jelly bean? I just want it to be fun!
