Happy Sunday!
It started out as a gray day but now the sun is shining. Boo freakin’ hoo! I’ll survive.
I first want to let everyone know that Derrick has started to give bass guitar lessons on his Youtube channel! I know nothing about guitar lessons, but he has been giving private lessons for several years now. And under his video, he links to the Drum Loops and Tablature that he created for that video so others can use that to practice. He’s super nervous so he has put this off for so long, but he’s finally jumping in and doing this! Up until now, he only played on videos and did not speak, except for this time he made a rare appearance on Skylar’s channel. We bribed him with Funny Bones! lol If you know anyone who is just starting out playing a bass guitar, please share Derrick’s channel with them! He (and I) would appreciate it very much.
Yesterday, I took you for a Tag Along with Me to Walmart and let you shop with me! I love it when you hang out with me in the store. I really feel like you are there with me… ’cause you are!
Today I hope to at least start an Upcycled Fashions video. I want something easy but I’m quickly learning there is no such thing! I’d also like to work on embellishing a quilt block. Not sure I can accomplish the two. Not even sure I want to attempt either. lol
Skylar is spending her birthday weekend with her dad. She had a friend sleep over last night. Tomorrow is Skylar’s birthday and she asked to go out for Mexican food for her birthday dinner. I’m treating the whole family to that and I also hope her friend can go too. Just wish I could be there!
Funny Comment: Someone left me a comment on this video informing me that a stiffy is slang for a boner. LOL I think I knew that!
What I Have on eBay: I still have some fabric on ebay but I will have some new penny auctions listed on Monday, so stay tuned for that!
10 Free eBooks: I found a nice variety for you today including Easy Recipes in Jars which is perfect for holiday gifts! See the free ebook list here.
Yesterday’s Walmart.com Deal: I dug up this deal on Sharkbite Juniors Shirts. They had 4 colors available in sizes Sm to XXL. Not sure what it still available.
On Derrick’s blog: I love this Men’s Guitar Pendant that Derrick found a deal on. At the moment, the price is still the same. Just remember that prices fluctuate on Amazon so always check the current price.
Youtube Analytics Mini Update: We hit 3 million views yesterday on my channel! I was so excited about that! We also hit 22K subscribers. The peanut gallery just keeps growing! Thank you to everyone who has helped me reach these milestones!
Have a great Sunday! Darlene xoxo
