Happy Thursday!
It’s a bright and sunny day. Not loving that, but it’s not hot. Totally loving that! And it’s breezy too. Feel more like fall. Fall is my favorite season.
In case you don’t know yet, I started a new facebook group for the Peanut Gallery! We are growing fast with over 400 members already. I started this group mainly so those who make quilts or crafts have a place to show off their stuff. But it’s really a place for everyone to get to know each other. Very happy with my decision to start this group. Please join if you want!
Yesterday I uploaded 2 videos. One was to announce the new group and go over the rules. The other was a nightcap vlog and I was manic. lol I don’t mind bouts of mania as long as I don’t get out of control and do stupid things like foolishly spending money. I think it’s why I hate to ever spend. Mania can make me go overboard so I rather just never buy anything. lol
Today I’m thinking I need to hit Hannaford. Craving their roast beef. If I go out, I’ll record a car vlog. Might wait until early evening when the sun is not so bright.
I also want to have some sort of crumb quilt video. It’s a strange situation to have such a successful series according to youtube’s analytics and also an overwhelming number of comments expressing complete love for the crumbing, yet it’s the most “disliked” series. Tons of thumbs down on it. Yes, I know the thumbs down still count as good engagement in youtube’s eyes. But it’s hard to ignore that so many are not happy with the direction I’m going in on my channel. I said it was hard to ignore. But I’m still managing to ignore. lol
I also need to get fabric ready for tomorrow’s ebay listings! I can’t wait! I love Fabric Friday!
What I Have on eBay: Nothing new at the moment, still my penny auctions. I sold out of all the fabric lots I had listed, but tomorrow is Fabric Friday so be sure to check back for that.
10 Free eBooks plus Free Music: I have the new Free eBook Downloads which includes DIY Laundry Supplies, Halloween Party Ideas, a Little Mermaid Crochet Pattern and more! I also have the Free Music Downloads too.
Yesterday’s Walmart.com Deal: I didn’t get around to doing any bargain hunting yesterday, but you can .
What I’m Watching Tonight: Project Runway and Big Brother. I usually watch BB live then I catch the PR repeat at 1:00am.
Stuff You Can Do: There is a FREE Kids Workshop at Home Depot coming up! Your kids can build and decorate their very own pencil box! See details here.
On Derrick’s blog: Casual Long Sleeve Button Down/Dark Blue. Please remember that prices change constantly on amazon. Might be higher now. Could also be lower!
Youtube Analytics Mini Update: My spike is for sure over. For now. I hope to have another spike soon! The tipsters say they usually happen every 3 to 6 months if you keep feeding youtube the content that works best for your channel. My first spike was in March of 2016 (this old hair video which now has over 365K views) and I had no clue about how to make that work for me. So I did nothing. I didn’t have another spike for an entire year. Now I know better! When you get a spike, do more of the same. Immediately. Often.
Have a great Thursday! Darlene xoxo
