12 ice cream sandwiches ()
1 cup hot fudge
1 (8 oz.) tub whipped topping
optional: sprinkles of your choice
DIRECTIONS:
1: Unwrap ice cream sandwiches and arrange 6 on bottom of a large jelly roll plate.
2: Spread about 3/4 of hot fudge on top, then arrange remaining ice cream sandwiches in a second layer atop the hot fudge.
3: Cover the entire cake with whipped topping. Place in freezer until firm, about 3 hours.
4: Just before serving, melt the remaining hot fudge and drizzle over the cake. Decorate with sprinkles, if desired.
Darlene’s Tips: You could do this with any topping. Butterscotch or caramel would also be delish! I’m thinking you could also spread some strawberry jelly between the layers for a chocolate covered strawberry flavor. And you could add chopped nuts if you’d like. Have fun with it!
