INGREDIENTS:
1 box Betty Crocker yellow cake mix (or any brand)
1/3 cup oil
3 eggs
1 1/2 cups mashed bananas (3 to 4 medium)
1 bag (12 oz) semisweet chocolate chips (2 cups)
DIRECTIONS:
1: Heat oven to 350°F. Generously spray 2 (8×4-inch) loaf pans with cooking spray; lightly flour pans.
2: In large bowl, beat all ingredients until well mixed. Divide batter evenly between pans.
3: Bake 45 to 55 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center of loaves comes out clean and inside of cracks do not look wet. Cool 15 minutes in pans on cooling racks. Remove loaves from pans to cooling racks. Cool completely, about 2 hours, to prevent crumbling when slicing.
Darlene’s Tips: You can use chocolate cake mix instead of yellow if you prefer! Strawberry cake mix would be terrific too!
