Easy Donut Hole Pie Recipe

INGREDIENTS:
1 box (14.1 oz) Pillsbury Refrigerated Pie Crust (or any brand)
1 lb packaged glazed donut holes
1/2 cup butter, melted
2 eggs
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 cup powdered sugar (for glaze)
1 tablespoon milk or water (for glaze)

DIRECTIONS:
1: Preheat oven to 350ºF.
2: Place pie crust in a pie plate and crimp the edges as desired.
3: Place the donut holes into the pie plate in a single layer. Press in as many donut holes as possible so the crust is full of donut holes.
4: Whisk together the melted butter, eggs, and brown sugar. Pour over the donut holes.
5: Bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown and bubbly.
6: Cool completely before glazing.
7: To make the glaze, whisk together the powdered sugar and milk. Drizzle over the pie.
8: Top with sprinkles, as desired.
Darlene’s Tips: You could use pieces of donuts instead of donut holes or you can try doing this with pieces of muffins, cake, soft cookies… experiment! You could also add some chopped nuts. Serve with whipped topping or ice cream!
