It’s Thursday.
I had a rough start to my day. Bad night. Bad morning. All just sucks. I’ve decided I will not leave the house today, not even to swim. Not unless things turn around for me. Just mentally drained right now.
I went out yesterday so I at least got that accomplished. I took you to walmart with me. During my car vlog portion of the video, I mentioned that Bunny Meyer (grav3yardgirl) posted a video (a long video) called We Need to Talk where she chats openly and honestly, crying included (and she used a beauty blender to wipe her nose and eyes) about her ongoing youtube struggles. I can relate to everything she says. It feels good to have someone else saying it. I fear I sound like I’m a broken record sometimes or that I’m just imagining the struggles. But the struggles are real and I’m certainly not the only one who goes through this. All full-time youtubers can experience this, even content creators with a very small channel like mine. Her video made me feel normal.
I have to make a phone call today and that has me all wound up. I simply hate making phone calls. But I must call a cancer center to see if I can get an appointment. That’s a call I never expected to make, yet on the other hand it’s like I’ve been waiting to make that call all my life. Just always assumed I’d have cancer at some point. In a strange way, it’s almost a relief to finally have it happen so I can stop anticipating it.
My new ipad arrived today! It’s still in the box. As anxious as I am to use it, I really have no desire to open the package. I’m such an odd duck.
