Frankencat Cookies Recipe – Halloween Food Craft

INGREDIENTS:

1 pouch (17.5 oz.) package of Betty Crocker Cookie Mix Sugar
plus ingredients required on cookie mix package
Green food coloring
1 can (16 oz.) of Betty Crocker Rich & Creamy chocolate frosting
(optional)
Chocolate candy morsels

DIRECTIONS:
1: Preheat oven to 375º F. Prepare cookie dough according to package instructions and also add a few drops of green food coloring to the mix.
2: Roll out dough and cut out square shapes using a square cookie cutter or a knife. Bake for 7-9 minutes. Let cool completely.
3: Spread a thin line of chocolate frosting on top of the cookie for the hair. Sprinkle black sugar on top of the chocolate frosting if desired.
4: Attach 2 chocolate chips with the frosting to the top of cookie for the ears.
5: Attach 2 candy eyes with frosting.
6: Draw in the face and stitches with the black edible marker. Use image as a guide.
Search for stuff you need on Amazon, on eBay and at Walmart!
Darlene’s Tips: You could use the back side of any or for the cookies and just decorate using the image as a guide. They won’t be green (you might try brushing them with green food coloring) and they won’t be rectangular (unless you find rectangle shaped cookies in your store) but they will still be super cute!
