Halloween Zombie Chex Mix Recipe

INGREDIENTS:

4 cups Vanilla Chex cereal
4 cups Cinnamon Chex cereal
2 cups chopped chocolate Halloween candy
1 1/2 cups candy corn
1 cup orange or red (or both) candy melts
1 cup chocolate candy melts or morsels

DIRECTIONS:
1: In very large bowl, mix cereals. Chop chocolate candy into bite-size pieces. Add to cereal mixture along with candy corn. Toss to combine.
2: Spread mixture evenly on waxed paper.
3: Melt candy melts separately as directed on packages. Drizzle melted candy coatings over cereal mixture.
4: Let stand about 1 hour or until candy coating is hardened. Break into pieces to serve.

Darlene’s Tips: You can sprinkle any Halloween candy sprinkles that you want immediately after drizzling the candy coatings over the cereal mixture. Do it before the candy coating dries to the sprinkles will stick.
