INGREDIENTS:

1 (13-inch loaf)
6 pieces of bacon, cooked until crisp and cooled
1 cup jalapeño or pepper jack cheese, shredded
1 egg
Coarse salt for sprinkling on top

See my Darlene’s Concoctions videos!

DIRECTIONS:

1:  Preheat oven to 375°F.

2:  Unroll dough into a rectangle. Add bacon and cheese along the center, then roll it back up and cut into 10 rolls.

3:  Roll each into to a 1/4-inch thick rope about 9 inches long. Bend into a pretzel shape.

4:  Beat egg in a small bowl and brush on top of the pretzels. Sprinkle with coarse salt. Bake for 13-15 minutes until golden brown. Serve immediately.

Darlene’s Tips: You can use real bacon bits if you want or you can skip the bacon. Table salt is okay if you don’t have coarse salt, or skip the salt.  Any cheese will work too if you don’t want a spicy cheese.  Mozzarella cheese would be awesome!
