Please remember that I don’t eat this stuff so I did not test this recipe. I’m just posting so you can try it!
Nutty Chocolate Topped Cake Recipe
INGREDIENTS:

1 box chocolate cake mix of your choice
Water, vegetable oil and eggs called for on cake mix box
1/2 cup chocolate chips
1/3 cup packed brown sugar
1/3 cup chopped nuts of your choice
optional: caramel or chocolate sauce

DIRECTIONS:
1: Heat oven and prepare cake batter according to directions on the box. Spread batter in greased pan.
2: Mix chocolate chips, brown sugar and nuts in a bowl then sprinkle the mixture on the batter in pan.
3: Bake as directed on the box. Cool and serve!
Optional: drizzle caramel or chocolate syrup on the pieces of cake before serving.
Darlene’s Tips: You can sprinkle the mixture on top of cupcakes too and even over brownie batter! You can also use any flavor cake or any flavor morsels. You could also add shredded coconut to the mix!
