4-Ingredient Chocolate Chip Cookies – Easy Cake Mix Hack

I use affiliate links in some of my posts. I may earn a commission if you use my links. Full disclosure.

Please remember that I don’t eat this stuff so I did not make this recipe. I’m just posting so you can try it!

INGREDIENTS:
1 box Betty Crocker Super Moist yellow cake mix
1/2 cup butter, softened
1 egg
1 cup chocolate chips

DIRECTIONS:

1: Heat oven to 350°F. Mix, cake mix, butter and egg in large bowl by hand (or with hand mixer) until smooth. If dough is too dry, add a tablespoon or two of water.

2: Drop dough by tablespoonfuls 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheets.

3: Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until edges are set (centers will be soft and cookies will be very light in color). Remove from oven and cool 1 minute then remove from cookie sheets to cooling rack. Store covered.

Search for stuff you need on Amazon, on eBay and at Walmart!

Darlene’s Tips:  You can add up to 1/2 cup of chopped nuts of your choice, or other ingredients like raisins, m&m candies, chewy candies, other flavor morsels, stuff like that.  Try other flavor cake mixes too!  Chocolate cake mix with chocolate chips would be extra chocolately!
