Happy Sunday!
I am happy to announce that I got a little bit of sleep this morning. I was worried sick I’d never get the chance. Skylar had two cousins here and I thought I wore them out by taking them to Wells Harbor, but nope! I think it woke them up.
First, about Wells Harbor. There was no concert. That’s okay because we were really going there for the beach and the playground. The music was just a bonus. But with no band, it was quiet and I ended up liking that better. I did a beach and car vlog while there. It was also a ride along video where I took you for the ride.
When we got home, it was all about playing with balloons. Then I took the girls out for a “midnight” ride at around 9:30pm. I took them out once in their nighties to mail something and now that has because something we must do during each sleepover. Sometimes Skylar and I do it just the two of us. We are both night owls. It’s so peaceful to drive at night.
After that, I thought everyone was good to sleep the entire night. Not the case. Not at all. Skylar fell sleep around midnight but the other two were on fast speed. Light out, quiet room, but they just kept talking and getting out of bed. My only saving grace was thinking how they’d sleep late so I’d finally get some rest. I dozed off around 3:00am then I woke up to the sound of them running around at 5:30am. They were even dressed!!! What on earth? Skylar was still in her nightie, and even though she slept, I knew she was not ready to be awake. I made them all lay back down and refused to turn the TV on. I never heard another word out of them. Now it’s 9:30am and they are still sleeping. There is hope for this day! LOL
I bought t-shirts to make them all a t-shirt dress. Those are catching on! I still have to make the one for Skylar’s mother and now three more. I must make those today because I bring the girls back to my sister’s house.
I also have to get the fat quarters fabric packaged for tomorrow’s pickup. That’s going to wait until this evening when it’s just me and Skylar. I need to be able to concentrate for that. Gee, I also have paper beads I need to send out! It’s going to be double duty with the packing today!
I also have a Mailbag Monday I need to record. I hope we can record that tonight so I can have it ready at a decent time for tomorrow. Will just play it by ear.
I guess that’s it for now. I think someone is starting to wake up. Let the madness begin! LOL Derrick will be here in one week. So anxious to see him. Skylar is mega anxious to see him. It will be a good reunion.
