Happy Saturday!
It’s a gray day! Yay! Score for the girl who loves darkness! I have no clue if it’s hot out there or not. So far, it’s okay in the house but I’m sure I’ll need the AC soon.
Last night I put a fabric listing on my blog instead of on eBay. Just trying that out. I realize I still need eBay too, especially for auctions, but also for fixed price listings because I gain visibility there. My thinking is that I will try to use both. But after I sell the fabric I have on hand (which is quite a lot due to this shopping trip) I will cut back for a bit. I don’t like having lots of stock on hand and I’m quite sure my regulars have shopped enough. lol
I just turned the AC on.
I might also try some smaller lots of fabric, less prints per lot, or maybe even some lots of one print and you choose how much you want of it. And I will upload as I can, not just on Fridays (but I could still do a Fabric Friday video as a reminder). I just need to figure out the paypal button for that to get the shipping to adjust by the size of the cut. So much to learn! I really want to work my way back to having a store on my blog. Little by little, I will get there!
Last night, someone let me know that yet another one of my videos got stolen. The first time I had to report that, I looked everywhere for how to do it. This time I thought I’d walk you through the steps of how to report a copyright infringement in case you are a youtube content creator and you have some of your videos copied. It happens more than you think! Youtube had my video off their site within the hour and also deleted all their videos but two. Their channel still exists and I see they are building it up again. I doubt they are using stolen videos this time. If they are, they can expect to be banned shortly.
I will be super busy today because we are expecting my nephew with his two kids, Maggie and Dean. I’m still going to do my best to work. I can set them up with crafts. Their mom does not want them on video so I won’t be recording while they are here.
When I do record, I have the following on my short list: Upcycled Fashions, “Shit” series, Comments of some kind, a Doodle Reload, and of course, a Quilt Block. I hope to get as many of those done over the weekend as possible! I hope I can accomplish at least three of them.
I thought it would be fun to give you a mini update on how my channel is going. I know I have some die hard fans of my youtube earnings update, so I thought maybe those viewers would like mini updates while waiting for the half month and full month youtube updates! And I’ll start directing you to my other posts that you might be interested in, like you see below.
Youtube Analytics Mini Update: My month is starting out good (knock on wood) with two days over $30 so far. I slacked a bit yesterday by uploading two videos that are not usually big on watch time for me, so I expect watch time to drop. I just checked the youtube app and yes, watch time for me yesterday tanked. But I gained 502 net subscribers for the first 4 days of Aug! That’s fantastic!
10 Free eBooks: I have the list of free ebooks posted! A nice little mix, something for everyone!
Yesterday’s Walmart.com Deal: I found this Marvel Super Hero on clearance for only $2.97, down from $12.15! It’s never too early to start shopping for Christmas! Or maybe you have some kids’ birthdays coming up?
And Derrick has been putting some new t-shirt on his merchandise site! Check them out!
Have an awesome Saturday! Darlene xoxo
