Happy Sunday!
Or is it happy? I don’t even know why I say that. For many, it’s probably a very sad day. There is always someone out there struggling with depression, anxiety or the things life throws at us. For many it’s just Sunday. A day they wish would hurry up and end.
Even on my best days, I don’t like to hear shit like “happy Sunday” so I don’t know why I even say that. I’m going to change that starting tomorrow.
Yesterday I uploaded another quilt block, this time a Raw Edge Quilt Block. No feedback on if anyone likes it because I have comments turned off. That’s what I love about no comments. No feedback to influence me on what kind of videos I “should” update. I absolutely LOVE and am quite addicted to making quilt blocks lately (I’m sure the phase will pass after a while) and I’m doing quite well with those in the youtube earnings department. But I had soooooo many tell me how much they hated my quilt videos. They were not on my channel to see that stuff. They wanted only things like tag alongs or hair cuts or me reading comments. Funny, silly stuff. And I understand that’s what they signed up for when they subscribed. And how I wish so much that I would have never known how many hated my quilting videos because it put a great big damper on my excitement for that series. My love the blocks remains, but every time I upload I know I just pissed a lot of people off. Not knowing that would have been better.
Today I might, importance is on might, go out and do a tag along just so I can feel less guilt for doing two quilt blocks in a row on my channel. But see, that takes the fun out of the tag along for me. I don’t want to feel forced to perform. I love tag alongs but only when I’m in the mood for them. The continuous struggle with my channel is real and the pain from the struggle is getting old. No matter how much I tell myself to just do what I want and not care what others think, I can’t help what I actually feel inside. All the brain power in the world does not change my feelings.
Did I ever mention that Derrick is in Houston? He has been there for 2 weeks now appraising cars for flood damage. He’s going to be heading to Beaumont, TX soon then most likely Florida after that. He said he’s seen stuff that breaks his heart. I can only imagine how awful it is for those who lost everything.

Youtube Analytics Mini Update: Youtube has updated through 9/22. I am officially over $1,000 for the month with still 8 days of reporting to go! Quite happy about that. And I’m almost at 29K subscribers and should for sure hit that number in time for tomorrow’s update. My top 3 videos with the most views in realtime for the past 48 hours are: Glass Pendants with 6,900 new views (almost 252K total!), Disappearing Corner Quilt Block with 2,600 new views and my I’m Not Human Car Vlog with 2,000 new views, because you know, people love a train wreck (p.s. rubber neckers and haters are great for views).
