It’s Tuesday!
It has been 2 weeks since my last daily chat blog update. Things have been crazy. If you have not been watching my videos, I was in Memphis for almost 2 weeks. I just got back last night. I’d love to say it was an awesome vacation but it was filled with stress and worries. And uncertainty. And now that I’m home, it still feels that way.
Long story short, my mother is still in rehab. I spoke to her case worker today and there will be a meeting soon about a plan of action. That’s all I know for now.
If you want to get caught up on things, I have more info in my Patreon videos and also text posts. I’m trying to keep the more personal stuff on Patreon now since I feel it’s a safer place for that kind of stuff. This way it only falls into the hands of those who really are interested in the personal side of my life (trolls don’t want to pledge $1.00 per month so it keeps them out).
If you want to see my Memphis trip, that playlist is available to everyone! You will see that one of the videos states I’m taking a break from youtube. Yup, I am. Just a short one. That is the current plan. But I do want to focus on recording less. I want to work smarter, not harder. And I need free time to get stuff done around the house.
For some odd reason, I feel more like wanting to clean up while I’m alone here. And it’s not just because I need something to do to kill time. I just feel like I can pull away from my work a bit more, like I don’t have to drown in work as a way to survive. I just feel motivated to start clearing out this house. Not sure how much I can accomplish, but I want to try. And that will take me away from youtube a bit. I may also record some of that as a possible series. Just don’t want to put any pressure on myself about recording stuff. Also, clearing stuff is very hard for me mentally and I’m not sure I want to let that mental anguish play out on youtube.
As for things I want to jump into, I still plan on hosting the next Fabric Frenzy on Dec 8 in my Peanut Gallery facebook group. You will need to be a member to get in on that. And it’s for US shipments only, including military addresses.
I also want to get the Christmas Fabric back up on eBay. I only took those listings down because I was in Memphis and would not be able to process orders. Look for those listings later today! When they do go up, you will see them here (you might want to bookmark this page).
And I still want to have a Giveaway for the Hot Mess Quilt! I just need to figure out how I want to run it. Stay tuned for that soon!
Let’s jump to the regular stuff. I don’t have much to report since I have not posted anything but videos on the blog for the past 2 weeks. Feels good to be getting back to my blog. Expect more content soon! Derrick will still be on board with posts as planned. We just put that on hold for now since my life went haywire.
