Easiest Ever Creamy Fruit Pie Recipe – Summer Dessert

Easiest Ever Creamy Fruit Pie Recipe

INGREDIENTS:

1 Pillsbury Frozen Deep Dish Pie Crust (or any brand)
2 cups whipping cream
1/4 cup powdered sugar
3 cups fresh fruit (strawberry slices, blueberries, kiwi fruit slices, peach slices or any combination)

DIRECTIONS:
1:  Prepare pie crust as directed on package for one-crust baked shell using 9-inch pie pan. Cool 30 minutes or until completely cooled.
2: In large bowl, combine whipping cream and powdered sugar; beat until stiff peaks form. Gently fold in fruit. Spoon into cooled baked shell. Refrigerate at least 1 hour before serving. Store in refrigerator.

Darlene’s Tips:  Skip the whipping cream and just use your favorite whipped topping. You could totally use a ready-made graham cracker crust for this. You might have to cut the recipe in half since that’s not deep dish, or you might be able to make two not-so-deep pies. Pretty sure you could also use well-drained canned fruit. Fruit cocktail would be an excellent choice!
